Many may not fully recognize that the African Diaspora Nation is within the top 10 richest nations in the world.... We are absolutely abounding with top scientists, engineers, military advisors, medical doctors, social scientists, teachers, financial executives and hard workers....We now add to that knowledge African holistic connection to the land, the language, the culture, the governing bodies, the civil society, and we will make a powerful partner with our brothers and sisters at home.

H.E. Dr Erieka Bennett, Head of Mission, (AU) Diaspora African Forum Mission.

Welcome to the Diaspora African Forum web home. We exist "to invite and encourage the full participation of Africans in the Diaspora in the building of the African Union, in its capacity as an important part of the Continent". We will provide the vital linkage for diaspora Africans to become involved in Africa's development as well as reap the fruits of African unity.

Pan Africanists and activists in general, more specifically those from the Diaspora will find an avenue to express themselves to the African Union, through the ECOSOCC and other organs. Private, public and NGO sectors will find information on upcoming conferences and other AU related updates. Academicians and students will find reliable documentations from the African Union for their studies.

We are hosting a wide range of forums open to all Africans in the diaspora, and weblogs for key thinkers and visionaries of diaspora involvement in Africa. We will also publish a monthly newsletter in printable format and host our own news feed specifically devoted to Africa Diaspora relations. We hope you will join us on this journey as diasporas take their rightful place in African affairs.
